Universal tools are tools that support students taking online tests. Where applicable, these tools will populate on the test and can be used regardless of the device they are testing on. The intention is provide classroom tools that students might use every day.
Best practice: Have students practice using universal tools on the CAASPP practice tests regularly to get comfortable in using them.
