Notability is a third-party app, and as such sometimes has some conflicts working with Canvas. These types of issues can be challenging for the user to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do to support beyond giving some suggestions that may help. If none of the suggestions given below help, you might want to try contacting Notability directly through the help or support button. You might also try just using the native built-in PDF annotation feature built into Canvas. It works just as well as Notability, and does not have compatibility issues.
Suggestions:
- Double click the home button and swipe up to close Notability and Canvas, then try again.
- Log out of Canvas and log back in.
- Perform iPad system software update by tapping Settings > General > Software Update.
- Reinstall Canvas and Notability by tapping Self Service, then perform a search for Canvas and Notability and tap Re-install (Note: Back up Notability notes to OneDrive first before reinstalling Notability).
- Do not use Notability and instead use the built-in PDF annotation feature of Canvas app.
- If none of this helps, please back up all assignments to your child's OneDrive cloud storage and contact the BPJH librarian Irma Alonzo for an iPad reset.
Here's a video on how to submit assignments from Notability to Canvas.
Thank you.
